Our Commitment to Giving

Our Commitment to Giving

When we launched HIE Heirlooms of Hawai'i in 2023, we made a promise to ourselves and to our community: this business would be more than beautiful jewelry. It would be a bridge connecting those who wear our pieces to the place and people we love most.

That commitment led us to establish a giving model that reflects the values we were raised with here in the islands. Today, we're proud to share that HIE contributes 1% of our top-line sales to HIE Heirlooms of Hawai‘i Charitable Fund. Through this partnership with Hawai‘i Community Foundation, we're able to support local nonprofits that strengthen our community and preserve the traditions that make Hawai'i home.

Supporting Local

As you may know, gold prices have reached historic highs, but regardless of material prices, economic conditions, or business challenges,
we remain steadfast in our commitment to giving. This is our kuleana, our responsibility, and our privilege.

Why Hawai'i Community Fund

Hawai'i Community Fund channels resources directly to local nonprofits doing critical work across our islands. These organizations are on the ground every day, supporting Hawaiian cultural practitioners, feeding families, educating keiki, preserving our environment, and upholding the traditions passed down from our kūpuna.

When you purchase an HIE piece, you're not just acquiring jewelry; You're participating in a cycle of aloha. Your support helps fund organizations that are the backbone of our community—the ones teaching ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, protecting our reefs, supporting our kūpuna, and ensuring Hawai‘i's unique culture thrives for generations to come.

This is what "heirloom" truly means to us. It's not just about creating pieces that physically last. It's about investing in a community that will be here to receive them, to tell their stories, and to pass them forward.

Moving Forward Together

To our customers: mahalo nui loa for making this possible. Every bracelet, every necklace, every piece you choose carries forward this commitment to community.

At the end of the day, the most valuable thing we can pass down is the legacy of caring for each other and for this place we call home.
