Shipping & Returns

What is your return and exchange policy?

All our bracelets are custom made to order and take an estimated 8 to 10 weeks for production. Unworn, non-custom pieces are eligible for exchange or return up to 14 days from the delivery date. Sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Refunds will be issued to the original person and payment method used to place the order.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you have a change to your order, please contact us immediately and if production has not yet begun on your order, we would be happy to accommodate a change to your customization. If you are not satisfied with your order, we do accept returns on non-customized orders for a full refund within 14 days of receipt. Order receipts must be included in the return shipment and refunds will be issued to the original person and payment method used to place the order.

What is your shipping policy?

We offer complimentary shipping for orders within the United States. For International orders, please contact us for a shipping quote as duties and taxes on international orders are due upon delivery. Each order is insured, and a signature is required on receipt. Expedited, rushed shipping is available by request, please contact us for a rush shipping quote at aloha@hiehawaii.com.

What is your shipping method?

All orders are sent via UPS, are insured, and a signature (by an adult) is required on receipt. Domestic orders will be charged sales tax at checkout. Duties and taxes for international orders are due upon delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Please contact us for international shipping quotes!

Can I return an engraved bracelet?

No, unfortunately, custom orders are final sale and are not eligible for exchange or refund.

Jewelry Care

How do I care for my bangle?

It is best to clean your heirlooms with a soft cotton cloth or dry jewelry polishing cloth. Please do not use jewelry cleaning solutions, or any polishing clothes that include cleaning solutions. Please also avoid any chemical filled cleaners. It is also advised not to put your heirlooms into a jewelry cleaning machine or tumbler. The truth is, at HIE, we rarely clean our own bangles as we LOVE the slightly darker patina of the gold and the softened, heirloom qualities that come through with wear and use over the years. Because gold is a soft metal, it is susceptible to scratches, dents, and abrasions over the years. As mentioned above, at HIE, we like the “personality” collected on our bracelets over the years from wear and use – but if you prefer bright, shiny, and new, any trusted jeweler will be able to restore your pieces to their original finish.

What quality of metal do you use?

All of our pieces are considered Fine Jewelry made of solid 14K, 18K or Rose gold. Our pieces are all considered heavy weight due to their unique thickness, at an estimated thickness of 1.7mm.

What should I consider when choosing a bracelet?

Your size! If placing a custom order, it will not be possible to exchange or return the item once production has begun. To ensure you are ordering the proper size, please schedule a visit to try on our sample sizes or print out the online sizer LINK and utilize it to ensure you are ordering the correct size for your wrist.

Is there a lifetime warranty on the jewelry?

We are a new company, BUT we will do our best to repair any damage or deficiencies to your bangles. While these solid gold bracelets are designed to last generations, any style that includes diamonds or enamel inlayed into the gold will need repair over the years. Can I see a sample bracelet?

Please reach out to us at aloha@hiehawaii.com to schedule a private shopping experience, try on samples, or to find out when/where our next trunk show is scheduled. Not based in Hawai’i ? We are happy to meet with you virtually or over the phone. Please reach out to us to schedule a consultant with a HIE team member.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, for online purchases we have partnered with Affirm, providing an option for you to pay over-time, at a payment schedule that works for you. No late fees, or compounding interest – not a bad option for an heirloom designed to last generations.
